Precision Racing L.A. Announces 2025 SRO Series Driver Lineup for Season Opener

March 24, 2025
Los Angeles, CA

Precision Racing L.A. announces this year’s line up ahead of the first race of the season at Sonoma Raceway. Coached by former factory driver and accomplished racing champion Ryan Eversley, this year’s drivers include Karl Forman (#03) for the full season, along with veteran Mike LaMarra (#73) for a partial season. The team will soon have an exciting announcement about a new driver for a partial season in the coming weeks.

With a diverse background in motorsports, Karl Forman has competed in both oval and road course events across multiple series. His experience ranges from grassroots short-track racing to off-road endurance events, showcasing his adaptability behind the wheel. Most recently, he participated in the GR Cup Car test at Buttonwillow Raceway, further expanding his skill set in high-performance road racing.

Forman said, “I am looking forward to my first season in the Toyota GR Cup. From what I can tell, the competition looks intense and I'm looking forward to pushing myself and the car to the limit. It's an amazing opportunity to grow as a racecar driver and be a part of an amazing team,” said Forman.

Mike LaMarra will also represent Precision Racing L.A. in the GR Cup. This will be Mike’s fifteenth year racing professionally and the veteran driver looks to spend more time on the podium this season.

“I’m excited to get back in the driver's seat. The Toyota GR Cup has a lot of hard racing from the front of the field to the back and I’m looking forward to the challenge, but most of all I’m hoping we can have some fun out there,” said LaMarra.

Coach Ryan Eversley said, “I’m looking forward to another season of working with our GR cup drivers in pursuit of their individual goals. Karl was quick at our test and has a lot of potential for strong results in his rookie season. He has a bright future in sports car racing. Mike is obviously part of our PRLA family and needs no introduction. He’s always an absolute pleasure to be around and combining that with his experience and skill level will make for a fun and competitive season ahead!”

Mario Biundo, Team Principal of Precision Racing L.A. said, “I am happy to welcome a rookie to the team. Karl Foreman has demonstrated a significant will to learn sports car racing and is entering his professional season with us. During testing he impressed all of us with his knowledge of the sport and intensity to improve.  His debut at Sonoma will undoubtedly be a learning experience but a good indicator or his raw talent that I know will flourish as the season progresses.  Also happy to welcome back Mike LaMarra who decided to test his veteran championship skills against a talented group of GR Cup racers. Mike will likely surprise many with consistent results due to his tactical approach. The two drivers will start the season, and another driver will be added soon which I am excited to unveil in the coming weeks.”

As the countdown to the season opener begins, Precision Racing L.A. drivers, crew and operations teams are eager for the 2025 season to get started!
